  • July 2008 - EES would like to announce that the Township of Lawrence in Mercer County, New Jersey has ordered a 2008 Sutphen Custom Rescue Pumper for the Lawrenceville Fire Company - Station 23. More details to follow!

  • July 2008 - EES has been moving forward with sales and service. Emergency Equipment Sales has hired two additional sales personel to increase customer service to our valued customers. The website is slowly in the process of upgrades. Traffic to our website on a weekly basis exceeds over 500 hits.

  • May 2008 - EES has also hired multiple part-time office staff personnel. With the major increase in sales and service, additional office staff was needed to meet the demand of our customers. Our office staff will be responsible for shipping and receiving, delivery of equipment and general office duties.

  • May 2008 - David Jobst has been added to our service department as of April 20, 2008. David brings over 30 years of experience of working on all types of equipment. David also brings with him many certifications which allows us to expand our service department to include additional services to our customers. A full bio will be posted soon.

  • April 2008 - William Smith has been added to our sales team. Mr. Smith has sales experiance with another equipment company in New Jersey. Mr. Smith will be our lead salesman for North Jersey. A complete Bio of Mr. Smith will be posted soon.

  • April 2008 - Pump testing has begun! Our special dedicated team of pump test personnel have been conducting NFPA pump testing through out New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York and Virginia. Call today to schedule your pump test.

  • April 2008 - EES has delivered another Custom Sutphen Rescue Engine in the Hunterdon County area. The Readington Fire Company has taken delivery of Squad 32 as of April 12. The unit responded to its first working fire with-in 24 hours after delivery where it pumped for an extended period of time. See our main page and recent deliveries section for additional information.

  • April 2008 - WEBSITE - The new website has been delayed in being published until all material is entered and operating properly. We expect to have the new website up and running soon.

  • April 2008 - EES continues to grow with new customers each week. We are focusing on hiring additional sales personnel to meet the demand of our customer base. We have received multiple resumes from experienced sales personnel and in the process of performing reviews and interviews. We are still accepting resumes so if interested, contact our office for additional information.

  • March 2008 - EES has been busy with new customers and serving our current customers that we have not been able to update our website. EES has been moving along and still continues to grow each day with orders for equipment. Hydrostatic testing services are a steady part of EES. We thank all our customers for their continued loyalty and support. Your satisfaction is always our #1 concern. EES is again searching for additional experienced sales personnel to meet the demand of our customers. On the service side, EES has been busy with repairs and maintenance for current and new customers. Pump testing season has arrived and our pump testing staff is busy scheduling customers.   • February 2008 - EES now offers hydrostatic testing on SCBA, SCUBA, Cascade, 6000 PSI and Oxygen cylinders. Pick up and drop off service available. Quick turn around times. Test your cylinders and not your budget!

  • February 2008 - EES congratulates The Flemington Fire Department on the delivery of their 2007 Sutphen Custom Rescue Engine with CAFS.

  • February 2008 - As EES approaches our 1 year anniversary, we would like to report that we are growing and expanding our services.   • January 2008 - I am pleased to report that Emergency Equipment Sales has successfully ended 2007 with positive results. Bob and Todd would like to say Thank You to all our customers. We will continue to move forward in providing even better customer support and service to all new and existing customers in 2008. We have successfully spoken to several additional individuals who will be working in our sales division to further provide customer support through out New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.   • January 2008 - EES is proud to announce our dealership for Safety Vision Camera systems. Contact our office for additional information.

  • January 2008 - On Thursday January 10th, Flemington Fire Department's 2007 Sutphen Custom Rescue Engine arrived in New Jersey at our facility. The apparatus will be having multiple items installed at our facility prior to delivery to the department. Some items we will be installing a Safety Vision rear camera system, Whelen LED lights, Whelen LED rear Arrow Stik, Cord reels, electrical outlets, and numerous other items.

  • December 2007 - EES would like to welcome Mark Burckley to our sales staff. Mark brings many years of experience of Emergency Medical Service sales to our team and will be the the sales contact for South Jersey. Mark's main sales responsibilities will include Ambulance Sales, Emergency Medical Supply Sales and Fire/EMS maintenance service sales. Welcome aboard Mark!

  • December 2007 - Flemington Fire Department's new Sutphen apparatus is completed and ready for final inspection. EES will be going to the factory with the committee to perform final inspection the first week of January. The apparatus will be in New Jersey the weekend of January 5. Check back for pictures and information.

  • December 2007 - Equipment Sales has increased. We currently have salesman in Camden, Burlington, Bergan, Warren and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey. We currently have a salesman in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Our sales force has increased sales dramatically. Contact our office for pricing on your next equipment purchase.

  • December 2007 - EES has upgraded our computer diagnostic equipment with state of the art equipment able to read all transmissions, brake and engine systems on all makes and models of fire and EMS apparatus.

  • December 2007 - EES is proud to update our customers with our progress and new information. As you will notice, our website is in the process of being updated with new software and technology. The traffic to our website has been so busy that an upgrade is needed. During the next month or so you will notice some changes. There will be times that the website will not load or be presented correctly on your computer. We will provide updates as to progress of the upgrade.

  • November 2007 - The website is currently being updated with information and a new look. Some pages have already been updated such as the equipment sales. We have compiled just some of the equipment that is available through EES and listed them in a break down by category. Our equipment sales continues to increase with customers through out the state now. As mentioned in a prior update, we are still in the process of hiring several additional sales personnel to break down the state by region. We will list those regions and the sales contacts soon!

  • November 2007 - EES is proud to announce their dealership for SuperVac Apparatus! More information is to come! Check back soon!

  • November 2007 - EES is continuing to grow at a rapid rate. Already our customers are complementing on our reliable and dependable rapid service to their department. Equipment sales is also picking up as the word is getting out of our competitive pricing and rapid delivery of products. EES is in the process of building a dedicated sales force and assigning territories to provide even more dedicated customer service. EES is here and we are growing! Thank you to our valued customers who continue to deal with EES. We understand you have an option and we appreciate your trust and business.   • October 2007 - EES has signed with Iron Compass Map Company to provide On-Scene Xplorer mapping and pre-planning software and equipment for fire and EMS departments in New Jersey, Eastern PA and Delaware. EES will provide the software, equipment and installation all for affordable costs. Contact our sales department for information and DEMO.

  • October 2007 - As we approached the mid-month mark for October, EES has increased customer base steadily. One of the owners, Robert Evans still has many customers switching from there current repair facility to EES. These are customers that were with Mr. Evans for many years.

  • October 2007 - EES has completed repairs and insurance repairs on a 100 foot aerial platform. Repairs included yoke and basket replacement, hydraulic lines and pump replacement, custom fabrication, electrical repairs and installations, radiator replacement, chassis service, pump service, full aerial preventive maintenance, compartment repairs, lighting repairs and numerous misc repairs. All repairs and service was performed by our qualified and certified technicians.

  • October 2007 - Due to popular demand of our current customers, EES is in the process of building a full NFPA compliant pump test procedure and vehicle. Many of the local current service centers offer pump testing but do not meet the NFPA requirements. Call our sales staff for more information and be added to our mailing list. We expect to begin pump testing in Spring of 2008 once we have completed our pump test vehicle.

  • October 2007 - EES is proud to announce that we have increased our fleet of service vehicles. EES has taken delivery of a new F-350 4X4 with a 11 ft utility body. We are in the process of developing a new lettering and striping design. Pictures will be posted soon!


  • September 2007 - EES would like to thank our valued customers and friends for their business. This month alone, sales have soured to an unbelievable level. Our speed of repairs and customer service out performs all our competitors. While others are continuously looking over our shoulders trying to match our performance, we will continue to focus our company’s efforts toward our customers who are also our friends.

  • September 2007 - Wildwood was a huge success for EES. We are pleased to welcome even more customers that owner Bob Evans had always served in the past.

  • September 2007 - EES has reached a total of 409 visitors to our web site in just 2 months! Our statistics software show that we have return visitors everyday. Thank you for visiting us everyday!

  • September 2007 - EES has added a new link to the website. You can now view different pictures of repairs and other various pictures of repairs in progress and of the shop. Stop by and take a peek!

  • September 2007 - EES has sold and delivered a 2007 Sutphen Heavy Duty Custom engine to Hamilton Township Fire District #5 (DeCou Fire Company)  Mercer County, New Jersey. Pictures and more information to follow soon under our recent delivery section of the web-site.

  • September 2007 - EES is gearing up for the New Jersey State Fireman's Convention in Wildwood, New Jersey on September 14 - 15. Stop by the Sutphen booth and meet the owners of EES. Literature will be available for all your service and equipment needs. The Sutphen booth will be located in the south lot!

  • September 2007 - EES has hired an additional full-time service technician due to the rapid growth of satisfied customers. Our customer base is still growing week by week and we are even considering a 5th employee. Our new technician is EVT certified and brings years of experience of dedicated work of repairing and servicing fire and EMS equipment.

  • September 2007 - EES has been awarded a contract for maintenance and repairs on multiple apparatus at multiple stations.


  • August 2007 - EES has joined sales teams with J Yurick's Emergency Equipment & Ambulance Sales to offer Osage Ambulances in the state of New Jersey. Call for more information!


  • July 2007 - EES has expanded to now include selling fire equipment for all EMS and Fire Departments at below list prices! Some equipment available includes emergency lighting, scene lighting, hand tools, adapters, tool mounts, nozzles, battery chargers, hose, EMS equipment, ZICO and much much more. A team of dedicated sales personnel are always available to assist you.


  • June 2007 - EES has received an order for a 2007 Sutphen Custom Rescue/Engine with a CAFS for Flemington Fire Department in New Jersey.

  • June 2007 - EES has expanded their Sutphen Sales territory to now include the State of Delaware! Two (2) salesman have been brought on board with the company to cover all counties. Our sales staff is already working with multiple customers in Delaware on new apparatus and service contracts.
